Find Your Electorate & MP
Every three years New Zealanders rediscover that they live in an electorate, that the electorate has a name, and that the name is rarely the one they assumed. This page settles it. Type a suburb or a postcode, and we will tell you which of the 79 electorates you sit in and who currently holds the seat.
We are not the Electoral Commission and we do not run elections. For the official enrolment and polling-place process, head to vote.nz. What you get here is the join: every NZ suburb cross-referenced to its electorate, every electorate cross-referenced to its sitting MP, so you can answer the "who represents me" question in one click instead of three.
Lookup coming soon — boundary data is being imported.
The form is built and the per-electorate pages are ready. We’re waiting on the official 2026 electoral boundary file from Stats NZ + the current MP roster from Parliament. Once those land we flip a switch and this page goes live; the same lookup will also power an “Electorate” badge on every NZ suburb page.
In the meantime, the Electoral Commission’s own lookup is at vote.nz/enrolling/whats-my-electorate.
