It’s remote, it’s dramatic, and it rains with real commitment, but the people who love the Coast love it hard. House prices here are some of the lowest in the country, and the trade-off is space, scenery and a community that looks out for its own. The lifestyle’s not for everyone, which is rather the appeal.
